At Green Mountain College, we offer students the best possible online learning experience with the combination of our knowledgeable faculty and the way our courses are designed. We are fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
Our program is 37 credits. Each course lasts six weeks and there is a week-long break before the next course begins. Students should expect to spend approximately 21 hours on coursework per
week. Our online program has been available since 2006 and has graduated the greater part of enrolled students in the standard two year period. It is the perfect program for someone interested in earning his or her MBA in sustainability without having to sacrifice time with family and on the job.
There is an option for students to transfer into our program from other MBA and non-MBA graduate programs. The registrar reviews the student’s transcript to decide the number of credits that can be transferred.
If the need arises, students may take a break from the program. We will work with such students to help them plan their break, as well as to plan their return to the program.
Textbooks for each course must be purchased by the student, and average around $150 per course. There will also be more course information available online. The course website is where students can have discussions with each other, as well as where projects are submitted. Students communicate with advisors and professors via the on-line classroom, email, and telephone.
Students enrolled in our online sustainable MBA program can use Green Mountain College’s business and economics faculty as resources, and are also able to access our administrative support resources and the Griswold Library.
